Hot and Cold - The Art of Wax Play

Hot wax or the wrong type of wax can be dangerous or leave permanent scars.Hot wax comes from burning candles. I know you know that already, but the reason I mention it is that there are different types of candles and one type should never ever be used, that being beeswax as it burns exceptionally hot. Plain white parafin candles are fine for this use, of course test them first (see below) Coloured candles should also be avoided as they contain some toxic colourents and can burn even hotter than beeswax candles.
